LEE OSKAR HARMONICAS

Lee Oskar is recognized as one of the most widely-heard harmonica players of all time. He is well known for his role as one of the founding members of the band War, where his “horn section” (Harmonica with Saxophone) created one of the most unique sounds in the history of rock.

Composing and playing music have always been Oskar’s top career priority. With his growing popularity and increasing demands for his unique compositions, Lee became frustrated with the quality and availability of the harmonicas in the market place at that time. In 1983, The Lee Oskar Harmonica System was launched in collaboration with Tombo MFG of Japan.

Known for superior quality and sound, they are preferred by professional players all around the world; offering a variety of altered tunings, along with replaceable reed plates and accessories.

Backed by more than 30 years of serving the industry with its superior quality harmonicas, Lee Oskar Harmonicas has recently expanded its efforts to include a system of products and educational resources designed especially for various instrumentalists and singer/songwriters–making it easy and natural to incorporate harmonica play into their music for enhanced artistry and variety.
